Possums eating fruit trees

Possums on fruit trees can be very troublesome to fruit tree owners. The possums eat all the fruit and leave very little for us humans. They leave the core and not much else.

A natural solution:

Place dog hair in a stocking and hang it from your fruit tree. The possums smell the animal hair and are scared off from the tree.

Snails eating your plants

Snails like to eat your plants leaving them almost bare. And they love herbs, leaving you with almost nothing worth eating.

A natural solution:

Coffee beans on the ground around the plant, about 15cm from the stem. Or try ground up egg shells, the snails don’t like to walk across these grainy substances so the plant stays safe from being eaten.
